idk, this question has probly been asked and answered a billion times, but i couldn't find a thread dealing w/ it. whenever i try to connect to bnet, on any realm, i get an error msg abt needing to connect my modem. i use dsl, and i know this deals w/ my ip being blocked, it happens monetarily sometimes when i switch accs and chars really fast (muling, etc.) my bro downloaded a 3rd party mh program which contained a spambot and started spamming channels. i have been ip blocked from bnet. i can still access my acc from other comps, but not my own. is there a way to change my ip so that i can connect? i tried changing it thru my router, but its a cheap one and won't let me. its really sucky bcuz im addicting to D2:LoD
. anyways, thanks for all y'alls help.
Thanks to warslut I fixed the problem. he posted somehting on another thread that helped me. if ur having the problem, just go to start->run "regedit." then open up HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software and delete hte "Battle.net" and "Blizzard" registry keys. O yeah, backup ur registry in case u seriously screw something up.
