Should I come back and get used to it? *Prepare for D3.

So I was a long time "veteran" if you will of Diablo, and Diablo 3 well I am so excited for it, but I have been so far off of RPG games for so long.. I was wondering if I should go and purchase a copy of Diablo 2 for $20 at a Gamestop to just "get back in the feeling".
Do you think it would be worth to invest into playing again, and just for the pure fun of it. I have also heard there was a new 1.13 patch recently and it got me thinking if I should start again..

So should I?

Also does anyone think D3 would be out by the end of 2010? Because I don't want to just play D2 for like 4 months then move to D3, so do you think it will be worth buying?

You should come back and I'm comming back too. D3 will NOT be out by the end of 2010, that's when starcraft 2 will be out. Look for D3 in late 2011 or early 2012.
