For better or for worse, Facebook apps are here to stay, and are shaping the way people spend their time on Facebook. Whether they be in the form of games or virtul bookshelves, their presence on Facebook is unavoidable nowadays (unless you went "Hide" crazy)

So...are there any apps y'all use/play? Discuss, rant, rave, destroy - share away!

Disregarding some of the Facebook-owned ones, most of the apps I use on a routine basis are games: Farmville, Fishville, Mafia Wars, and (fluff)Friends. There aren't really any apps I have blocked, but you could say Zynga has their crooked finger curled around my neck, tightening the grip daily.

I am with Spit on this one.I know a lot of people that use that stuff...I am just not one of them.
I don't tweet,Facebook,or any of it.All my kids do My Space...I was amused they all posted pics of me...0.o

i had a myspace.. got rid of that and went over to facebook. the only good thing about facebook is that so many people use it, it is easy to keep track of people. and that right there is a huge con. the possibility of having all your private info posted to the world. i value my privacy, so i dont have any apps. i dont like those security leaks that those apps have. plus they are annoying. i have blocked mafia wars b/c they kept on spamming me. i have blocked others as well. and my facebook is fairly private. at one point i was unsearchable.

yeah most apps that spam bull shit just add to the waste on the internet there is so much nothing filling up the web.

I try to keep facebook as 'private' as one can. Only have like 25 or something friends on there. REAL friends, not like the people you see with 500+ that have only passed them in the street and said hello >.<

i nominally just use it to keep track of people.
