So I got a temp ban after running my bot last night. I got up the morning to find out only after running for 5 hours it got the temp ban message. For some reason I had a lot of chickens listed on my bot. Is the bot chickening so much the likely reason for me getting the temp ban?
Thanks

Thats the likely cause. You can go in and edit the D2NT/Scripts/NTBot/char_configs/NTconfig_paladin file and tweak the hp/mp % you chicken at.
Couple Notes ::
If your gear is weak, you will end up chickening more than normal.
If your merc gear is weak, you will end up chickening more than normal as well. (Note there is a line setting the Life % for you merc that will cause you to chicken. If your merc takes a pounding, this may very well be the culprit.)
A simple solution is to change your NTConfig_StartDelay to something in the 30 second range (30,000 milliseconds). This will hold your character still for 30 seconds after you log in, and should prevent the temp ban even if you chicken often. OFC if you need to set a longer startdelay, make sure your max game time is long enough to accommodate the extra time.

Thanks for all of the helpful information. Since my ban has been lifted I have appropriately geared my sorc and found a better skill build. I have also made the changes to extend my minimum game time so that I have no more than 15 games an hour. I did some research and have found people are having similar issues, with bans, when they have more than 15 games an hour on one key.
