D2NT won't swap to secondary

I have a blue wand that has +3 Energy Shield on it but the bot won't swap over to use it.

Is there a way to fix this? I don't have a point in Energy Shield so it would help a bunch. I'm currently requiring the wand in my switch to grant me energy shield.
