mf?

ive been running the bot to mf for a while now. i dont seem to be finding anything worth while. i am currently at right around 230 mf give or take a little. i run all bosses andy duriel meph diablo baal. i also run pindleskin and pits countess, summoner, shenk. do i really need more mf. or am i just getting impatient. i have a light sorc that uses:

shako w? pTopaz
20 esch with ist
COH
spirit
maras
SOJ and nagel with mf
44 war travs
arach belt
have gheeds and some SC mf

any suggestions. looking to build a barb next so want to find an arreats and runes/zerkers for him.

I've been wanting to know this as well. What's a good range of mf to get good uniques/rares because at the moment I have exactly 375% mf.

Remember that while a lot of mf is good, this also increases your chances to get magic by a lot more.
For example (this isn't real numbers, just an example)

350% MF gets you
350% more chance to get magic (blue) items
100% more chance to get rare (yellow) items
40% more chance to get unique (gold) items
0% more chance to get runes

So you have to take the good with the bad.
I can't tell you what a good mf is at, but I wouldn't alter you basic char to get more. For example, you could trade that ptopaz for an um if it helps you more. Or even trade the ist up for a facet.

Blue is right survivability is wayyy more important,the more runs you do the better chance of finding items.With anything over 200 mf and about 50-80 runs a night,with a properly configured(not too strict) pickit you will find all kinds of stuff.Wildeman,i would trade your spirit for a sanctuary and your nagel for a good rare fcr resist ring.Make sure all your resists are maxed in hell.What gloves are you using?If you get sanctuary and good rare ring you will have the setup I use to bot with,And my sorc is pretty damn tough.She chickens 2 times out of 60+ runs of cows,countess,izual,haephesto,mephisto,nilathak,pindle,threshsocket, and baal.

But her lightning is 37k with gear. But sanctuary intrigues me though. And if I get ep to niakthalk how does the bot get to pindleskin. And how do I make it do cows minus king?

I just think he forgot to mention diablo, but someone in Chaos must be immune to lightning, but if you can do him, go ahead, he gives good drops occasionally.
Anyways, if you choose to do Nith and pindle, he'll just tele to pindle from nith. So that won't be a problem.
For cows, I'm not sure if there's an actual code for it (I looked in the main char script and it wasnt there) but you would have to code something so the bot would do cows, and then in the char config do it like this.

nah I didn't forget diablo I just choose not to run mostly.I find the diablo scripts are all buggy even the newest releases.And for Cow script look Here
