This is a basic set-up and help guide for NTBot. There will be no custom scripts and I will only specifically cover a Baal Hammerdin set-up. This may not be exactly what you will be running but it can be used for educational purposes and adapted for the other pre-enabled class scripts.

Once you have Downloaded and saved the Zip File to your computer, double click on the Zip file (Should be called "D2NT31_NTBot42") or Right click it and select open. This should open it up and you should see a file called "D2NT". If this did not work it is likely that the Zipped file is not compatable with your Compression software or there was an error when Downloading the file.
If it is not compatable there are lots of software options available that you can find via a simple Google search.
If you feel that your software is able to open it and there was a problem with Downloading the file, simply delete the old file and go back and Download it again.

Copying the Files - 1.2
Once you have opened the Zip File and see the file named "D2NT". Right click "D2NT" and select copy. Then go ahead and paste it wherever your preference is. The exact location will not effect how it runs.
Note: As a precaution, DO NOT paste it into your Root Diablo II folder. It is not needed nor recommended. While I have not had any problems with running this bot and having it be detected, this is still not recommended.[COLOR="Silver"]

Open up the D2NT file and double-click on the D2NT Manager application. You should get a new window that looks like the one below.------------------------------------------- Creating a Profile - 2.1 -------------------------------------------

Once open, click on "Add" to add a New Profile and you should get a new window that looks like the one below.

Now fill out the following as follows:
Profile Name: Can be anything, only used to identify different characters/accounts/set-ups. (I use my Character Name)
Path: The file path for Diablo II's Game.exe - Use the "..." button to manually select your Game.exe or use "Auto Detection" to have it automatically search for Game.exe. (I prefer manual, avoids any errors)
Running Modes: There are several different modes, just mark the checkboxes of the ones you prefer. (Windowed Mode/No Sound/Low Quality/Minimized D2 are self-explainitory, Direct Txt should not be used unless you are running a D2 Mod and only use it for private servers or single player. Mods are not supported by Closed B.net)
CDKey: The .mpq file name of extra CD-Keys, the keys must be in you Diablo II root folder. It is recommended to use more than one but you can leave it blank to use the key you installed D2 with. (Type the files exactly like in the example except the indivudal names can be different)
Play Type: Where you want to run the bot. (Single Player or Battle.net)
Server: The server you want to run on. (Doesn't matter if your doing Single Player)
Position: The numbers correspond with the position of your characters in the Character selection screen. Choose the one that represents the position of the character you want to bot with. (1=Top Left, 2=Top Right, ect.)
Account Name: The name of your Battle.Net account. (You can leave this blank for Single Player)
Difficulty: The game difficulty you want to use while botting. (Can be Normal, Nightmare and Hell)
Room Name: Enter a unique Game Name you would like to use. (Ex: Vald Baal [The bot automatically adds -XX to the name so it would show "Vald Baal-XX" in game]) You can check "Random" to use a randomly generated game name. (Good for private MF games)
Room PW: The Password you would like to use for Private games. (For private MF games)
Entry Point: Leave as "NTBot.ntj"
Once you have filled out all the fields to your liking go ahead and click "OK" at the bottom. If you are only making one profile, go ahead and click "Save" on the "D2NT Manager 3.1" window and then hit "Exit" to close the window. If you want to make more character profiles, go ahead and repeat the above steps for each character. If you want to change a profile for some reason, just select it from the list and click the "Edit" button. Always make shure you click "Save" to save any profile changes before closing or you will lose any changes.
Note: You may have noticed that it did not ask you for your account Password. Don't worry, this is normal. You will be asked for the password to the account every time you goto run the bot. This is explained further in "Running the Bot - 2.6" down below.
------------------------------------------- Editing Bot Config - 2.2 -------------------------------------------
In this section we will cover the basic bot settings below:Default Channel - Channel used by bot. You can just leave them in Lobby.
Create Game Delay - Time between completion of a game and the creation of a new one.
We will not cover all aspects of this file and most of them are self explainitory.
Open up the file "NTBot.ntj" with Notepad. (File Loc: D2NT/scripts/NTBot.ntj)

Open up D2NT Manager and you should get a new window like the one below:http://i55.tinypic.com/1498to7.jpg
Select the Profile you want to run from the available list. If you do not see any profiles in the list, please refer to the "Creating a Profile - 2.1" part of this guide. Once you have selected a profile click "Run".
You should then get a new Window like the one below:

Enter the Password for the account used by that Profile and click "OK". Congrats, your bot should now be running! If it is not running, please double check everything and make shure all the information is correct. If you are still having trouble, post here on the forums with your specific problem.
