i put up this thread to talk about things like good places to mf,what kinda stuff u get when you mf,wut lvl is good to find good stuff, wut kinda chars r good to mf with, wut skills are good 4 mf runs etc.
i no i find some ok stuff with my sorc level 85,but i dont really no of any good places to mf besides meph, i bring this up because one of my friends has a level 97 sorc and found war travlers, a storm shield, windforce, and alot of poison and mf charms in act 2 nm, tals tomb and ive heard alot of talk about "secret places" to mf. :2thumbsup

A good place to mf is Pindleskin he is in act 5 just take the red portal near Anya if you still have it open and he is the unique monster right in front of the entrance.....he doens't drop goods too often but when he pays out...he pays out nicely.

hmm ive heard he drops good stuff after a long amount of runs, i think 1 of the members of this site said somethin about not getting ne thing good 4 like 10,000 runs, i dont no if mayb i need 2 lvl or get more mf or something.currently my sorc is 88 with 552 mf.

Well my sorc is 83 with around the same mf and I found a 7/7/18 Vampgaze the other day....so he pays off man just when you do a Meph run use a tp and go get Pindle or the other way around.

cool thanx 4 the info but heres somethin 2 think about, if u do alot of pindle runs u get somethin like a gaze, but if u save the time from doin pind and do only meph runs u could end up with something like a ss like i just got before posting this, and yet when i did pind i got a string and a goldstrike. heres a question as well, how many runs did it take u 2 get the gaze, im not sayin that ur wrong or ne thing im just wounderin time wise if its worth doin pind even tho he takes meer seconds 2 kill...:argue:

Well man I do both runs at once...I take care of Pindle then go down to Meph but that Pindle run was like my 6th of that day but as you very well know everything is random but I will say Meph drops more often but Pindle's pay off averages better items since he is a higher level monster then Meph...o and btw I have an extra Mara's it's +26 that I have been trying to dump off but everyone wants hex and ith so I can't find a buyer if your interested and happen to be on US West send me a message with your name...

i play on UsEast so i dont need the maras,but ne ways, besides meph and pindle,do u think there is ne other good places 2 mf,my friend said the countess is exellent 4 runes.on a channel 1 time i heard some1 talking about dac farren(goblin in A5,bloody foothills), and when i tried him i happend to get alot such as 187% eth titans,shako,doom, and a hellslayer, another thing about him is that i find he dies very fast and seems to have a better drop than pindle...

That's true about the countess but I haven't heard about doing Dac for mf. Though I do know somebody who goes to Tristram to mf a little since you can get alot of elite items there. :2thumbsup

It's mostly because of all of the champions there they dont drop too many uniques but you can get items to make ccbs and such

HOW MANY PEOPLE DID ALL OF ACT 3 IN D2 EVER I THNINK THERE IS ONLY 10 PEOPLE THT HAVE DONE IT AND TRUST ME THERE IS SOM GOOD MF DROP IN IT

aight well wut kinda stuff? cuz i dont wanna go through A3 and get like an aldurs weap or a junk unique like a moonfal jaggeg star or somethin.also i have recently found that A5 crystalline passage,and frozen river have some nice drops, i got a 6/7/23 gaze,steelskull, and gore riders there the other day:book2:... :confused:... :idea2:... :book2:

another good MF run is to go in akt 5 aal the three red portals ( frigid hihgland, arreat plateu and frozen tundra) then got to the caverns in crystaline passage, glacial trail and ancients way then you go get meph and the pindle skin.
