etal web site has been moving to a new server and is back up and going here - Portal - Project Etal
there has been one thing I just haven't understand yet is why you people that do bot and have bot want to download the plain d2nt bot and then come back and ask if there is a script or someway to get the bot to do this - I have answered over 200 ?'s here since I became a member and say 75% of them are ?'s that etal already has in their bot
ok don't get me wrong yes for those that are just starting out yes the plain d2nt bot probably is the better way to go till you understand how the bot works and how to edit your nip files but after that why not upgrade to etal and get all the bells and whistles etal has to offer- the coders have made sure every thing they have added will work and work with the rest of the scripts and since there is so much there doesn't mean you have to use it all, just nice that it is there if you did want it
now I know you guys are saying he doing all this because he is on the support team for etal well I am on the support team and have help added a few things to etal so I know the work these guys have put into it and still are - so I guess what I am trying to say if you have just the plain d2nt bot and see you would like more scripts give etal a chances
if you don't like it you can delete it and people say its to hard to set up, there might be a few things but I am here a lot to help there is the etal web site also there is a mirc channel on another site that I am there plus others that can help - for people liking help it is a lot easier for me to do it thru teamviewer that way I can show you how to set it up plus I can type right there in notepad
oh and one last thing etal has a beta etal that all the work goes into first that is called the UG / Beta (Underground) so about every 3 months or after they got what they want added and working nice they will release it to the pubic as the trunk verison - the UG/Beta is by donation if you would like to stay on top of etal
