How long do you run your bots?

I just recently made a return to D2, and I am curious how long you guys run your bots. I know on World of Warcraft (when I last played in 2006,) they'd look at how long your account was on consistently. Any fear of that back on the good old D?


I figure they pretty much consider D2 a lost cause, but... ya'know.

there has been people run them 24/7 and take time to xfer their items but a lot of people that only has 1 d2 cdkey will/can get like a 12 hr r/d (temp ban) so a lot of it will have to be trial and error on how long you can run and keep from getting the r/d

I have 2 D2 keys, but I am running 2 bots now. A Hammerdin, and a Sorc.

I had read a few updated MF returns that said anything over 10% is diminished. I call bullshit on that. My Hammerdin has 700% MF and finds 10x more than my sorc with 150 - 200%.

I believe some of it is just luck of the draw because I had a friend that had about the same set up as I did it he always found more then my char did

I got abou 305mf on my hdin... Did about 120runs these 2 days i've gotten it to work (80runs eld/pindle/meph/andy/count/pits and 40 runs eld/shenk/pindle/baal/meph/andy/count)..
not too many good items lol.... the run time is good though between 6-7 minutes so don't have to worry about having more cdkeys on the hdin.

and this - not too many good items lol you might your picket set pretty tight or if that is how you like it

Switched to pindle/eld/shenk/baal/meph andy....
Doing ok, found a couple rares n uniques, mostly gave to friends. And yeah my pickit is tight since i mostly want to trade the stuff away.
