Idk i got a similler message so i just deleted the program and all related files and redownloaded and started over. I would only advise this if you cannot get a responce cause it sucks starting over.

that error means you have a error in one of your nip file/s (pickit file) so double check the lines you edit for a error

Yeah i deleted the file and redownloaded the entire program and that fixed it.

when you edit your files you have to watch and make sure you don't leave a / or didn't add both // just 1 little thing will cause an error
