Scan lines:
Make a image 7x7. Zoom in as far as u can. Take the pencil. This is the fun part make dots whereever u want. But if u want scan lines make a straight line across or a box. Now u go to Edit>Define Pattern Then u go to the sig or whatever u want them on and go to edit> fill then switch it to pattern and pick ur pattern.

~*Grunge Signature*~
This tutorial will teach the reader how to make a pretty good looking grunge tutorial using photoshop. Heres something that you will be making ![]() Section 1-The Background 1. First off by making a 350x120 canvas. 2. Press 'D' To reset your colors to black and white. 3. Start off with some clouds, Filter>Render>Clouds 4. Ctrl+Shift+N to make a new layer 5. Now well start off to brushing the background, i used these brushes (note I do not take credit for these brushes.)The brushes are attached you can find them at the bottom of my post. 6. So do a little click here and there, and voila! ![]() 7. Ctrl+Shift+N to make a new layer. 8. Now press D and X to make your forground color white. 9. Now do some more clicks and you get this. ![]() 10. Ctrl+Shift+N to make another new layer. 11. D to set your forground color to black. 12. Now do some more clicks and you get... ![]() 13. Ctrl+Shift+N to make a new layer. 14. Now find a picture that you want in your sig, and put it in, heres mine so far. ![]() 15. Now to blending the render, Press the layer mask button ![]() this ![]() 16. With the render layer selected grab the brush tool, make sure you are using grunge brushes, start to brush around the render, it should disapear heres how mine looks. ![]() 17. Now we have the basic signature, time to add color, layer>new adjustment layer>color balance. Heres my settings Midtones- -82, -64, 72 Highlights- +67, +52, -70 Shadows- o,o,o 18. Now your signautere shuld look somewhat like this. ![]() 19. Now for the text, select the render layer and using the text tool drag a box and type your text, on this sig i used 'Dirty Headline' for my text. Now to add some effects. Drop Shadow-Default Settings Inner Shadow-Default Settings Bevel and Emboss- Inner bevel, smooth, depth=1, up, size=0, soften=0 Color Overlay-All depends on your sig Stroke-1 px, outside, normal, opacity=100, color=black Heres mine so far. ![]() 18. Now to add pixel font, This mainly all depends, I usually just go with a color overlay and a 1px black stroke, good pixel fonts are seroius2, sevenet, and 042_b, use these at 8 size. 19. Now for the border, make a new layer and make sure its the top layer besides the color balance, press 'L' to get the lasso tool, Right click on the signature, and choose select all. Right click again and choose stroke, 3px black stroke, right click again and choose stroke, 2px color of your choice, right click one more time and choose 1px black stroke. There you go, you got a nice looking forum signautre, this tutorial covered text, background, border, and render blending. Easy div layer banner.
1. Find a good render *picture for it* 2. Make a new image (533 by 383) 3. Filte>Render>Clouds x3 *or until it looks good* 4. Filte>Render>Diff Clouds x3 5. Now take ur render *picture for the banner* and cut out all of the background. 6. Then copy and paste the image over the clouds and put it on the top layer or bottom layer this is up to you ull see why later. 7. If u put it on top set blending mode to Linear light or pin light. 8. If u put it on bottom set the clouds to screen or overlay. 9. Now look for a good background. 10. Merge all layers. 11. Take the background u found and paste it to the picture and but it on the bottom and set the top part to blending mode Soft light. This is a decent div layer banner.
