Msxml 4.0 ????????

Ok, so i tried starting up my Age of Mythology, the intro worked fine, but then a screen popped up saying "MSXML 4.0 IS REQUIRED TO RUN THIS APPLICATION"
First thing:
WTF is this thing?
What does it do?
Where can i get it?
