New Patch??

Hey, i was just wonderin if/when theres gonna be a new patch, and any ideas as to what it might do would be greatly appreciated.

If by asking this question you mean "Will any a new patch add more features?" The answer is no, if they were to make a new patch, it would be based apon *Fixed Bugs* And nothing more, Blizzard has stated in the past, that 1.10 was their final major addition to the Diablo series, Nothing more will be added, except for whats already been said or, has not been activated "Such as a few items, they left disabled" And realm items, at which they have been adding slowly.

I found it out from a past interview they had, I would'nt post a lie about it, I myself would like to see more additions, But they made 1.10 knowing there are people out there with mod making skills, which gives a lot more gameplay value, which is stated in the readme to the 1.10 patch changes.

Well, as stated above, Mods are an alternative to the game, they do add a great deal as well, Blizzard will most likly release another patch, to fix bugs, as they always do. As for Diablo 3? Bill Roper which helped with the development of Diablo 2, has stated, there may be future plans for such a game, but not gaurenteed, Just like they said about a Sequal to Starcraft, Being (Starcraft 2) I hope that my post has cleared up any details you all have asked about a new patch and such.

I hope D3 is a bigger advancement then d2 i mean when i got LOD the only MAJOR change was the new act and bigger sash and the 2 new chars. If d3 comes out i hope its a whole! new thing instead of just an addition to LOD or something like that. New chars New acts New items New everything (or whatever they are going to call them).

2-3 Years is a little unrealistic, since Blizzard has always released games 3 Years apart from each other, at least to my knowledge, and right now, the development of WoW is underway, which most likly won't be finished until next year, Late year. And, i would think, they would go into the development of Starcraft 2 other then Diablo 3, since they have spent the least amount of time on Starcraft the past few years. So its due for an update, (An useful One) But a Diablo 3 would be nice to see, i would look forward to such a title.
