Trojans

Ummm...sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but my AVGS detected a Trojan when I was installing a bad program. It just popped a error message that said it detected the trojan.

I'm a little worried, did AVGS allow the trojan to latch itself onto my computer? Did it just warn me that a trojan was comming and didn't do anything about it?

Maybe I'm just paranoid.

Its the grisoft virus detection thing. I downloaded the stickied link in this section. It's worked better for me than any of the others. When I was loading the trojan, MCFEE didn't do shit!

I downloaded a keylogger(stupid of me) from a site i dont remember. I later downloaded a virus free award winning keylogger from dnet.

run avg and spybot s&d and clean out your system, you could also run the cleaner (a trojan scanner) there is a 30 day free trial at http://www.moosoft.com
