Bugged Leg scam, how?

I've seen ppl do this all the time but it seems like they always appear in the same place, the place where you appear when u enter the game. How do they do it tho.

yeah its the one with warriv. but i heard some ppl also could disappear and reappear by gheed using the scroll lock in maphack or somethin idk.

For the Warriv one, what you do is walk up to him as if you were gonna talk to him (click on him) and if you get the timing right, you walk away right when you are next to him, about to talk, and then the screen will pop-up giving you the 3 options, (Talk, Go East, and Cancel). Since you walked away people won't think you are talking to Warriv, and you can hit Go East, making the effect that you just dissapeared.

Yeah, my friend said he saw someone tele-ing in town...the guy asked him to drop someting, my friend dropped a pos and the guy teled over and took it..and it wasnt by warriv..it was close to akara he said

I saw someone trying to do one of the oldest scams today. He told everyone to drop their items by gheed, while he was in act2, and then press alt-f4 (which in turn would supposedly dupe their items.) So I walked in and ratted him out.. lol. Basically said, " So you want us to drop our items by Gheed, and exit out the game, so you can take our items?" It was classic, he just left.

lol some guy tried that on me lol........i traced his comp and he lived down the street from me.....i saw him at school and kicked the living shit outa him.......diablo2 is begining to be like lineage in korea.......cept i didnt kill the guy for takin my item......lineage rocks i jus dont like payin for it.....
