i think etanol is right, there r some priv dupes, & i think sites that sells d2 items has it...

Of COURSE there are private dupes.

You can tell if an item's duped or not just by going to d2items.com. For example:

The Occulus-6.99
Stone of Jordan-1.99
Sigon Shield-3.99

In game, the two(soj and occy) have approx the same value. Also, pricing sig shield higher than soj is absurd unless the soj was hacked. Even FURTHER:

Zod-4.50
Occulus-6.99

Zod, the rarest item in the game(generally speaking). In game, there's no way you can trade your occy for zod. So unless the zod here was duped, it should be worth about 16.50(same price as enigma).

Yes you can upgrade runes, but the sheer number required to make 40 vexes is unreal. There is a link on Arreat Summit, same place as those recipes, that lets you dl a calulator someone made. It tells you how many runes of a certain type you would hace to have to make a rune of another type. It is something like 3 million el runes to make 1 ist. Granted you wouldnt be making all your runes from el, but since the 40 vex were on ladder, and ladder has been open two weeks, I consider it an immpossiblity to have 40 vex runes without duping. Thats jsut my take on it though. Think what you would like, of course if you dont agree with me, you go to hell....

If you found 3 million el runes you should find about 5 zods so you would find alot more ists then.

i know that there is a dupe out cuz i traded my ebotdcb for like 1 zod 2 jahs and 32020 and 1 week later i find out that my zod is gone.. so i know there is a dupe out there. MUST be priv cuz if it wasnt it would be patched rite now. and myself if i had dupe i would NEVER give it out lol
