Even if you do it halfway, its not trouble to get a char up to 50, he could run off with it. I'm kinda interested tho, if he gets me till like lvl 70 or something i might.

Does Brute simply slip in every single pass and press login for you until it gets the right one? Because that would literally take forever. You'd have to leave your computer on for days to brute someone's account, and in the end it probably isn't even worth the time.

It tries about ~40-50 passwords in one second.

wouldnt a bruter be easy to make as long as u had the list? i mean i couldnt make one that tried 50 a second in diablo but you could make a slow one with autoit. maybe one a second.

/dnd is do not disturb, so once he sends you a private message he will see the /dnd message you typed. So that's how he got your password, by scamming.

I used to program bruters for AOL. What you do is(if you use Visual Baisc) load up a multi-threaded Winsock-esque control, create about 50-100 threads(or sockets), load up a proxy(or two to be safe) per socket, and use a login-method such as Stealth Bot does on every single socket. It takes about one second per socket, so if you use Broadband, you could easily pull of 50 tries per second, and with enough proxies, never get IPBanned. If someone could give me the the login strings for BNet i'd make an open-source(non-virus, of course.. i'm really THAT bored ;P), free brute force cracker. If I could, anyway. It'd take a few months 'coz I haven't used vb in ages. Someone hook me up with a bot source that can still login and i'll get on it >
