Sad, how all of you can spend so much time playing CS, and ignore UT (the best FPS)...... that game rulz! CS is fun, I have to admit, though I don't have it yet, maybe I'll change my mind.

i have CS UT 2k4 and a couple other and I liked the anti terrorist FPS like R6 and CS the best no spoon I didn't call you ignorant all i said is CS is boss to DoD =D any way I like UT but I like tactics and stuff much better but I must admit UT does kick *** and I can't wait for Doom 3 looks like a great game thats commin out.

for starters, the quake series is good, so is unreal and hl (and the opera is similar to a hl mod called the specialists) had to give up hl though (had so many mods and combined with steam it killed off most of the space on my hd ) and halo is a pc game if you count the conversion which wasn't that good (was originally a mac, then pc then Xblock) but i'd say ROTT should be on there as well (that was funny, blowing ppl up )

Actually Halo was on X-Box first, wasn't out for PC till about a year later. And I think Halo is great on PC cause the multiplayer over the net is just awsome.

I got addicted to CS when 1.6 came out, so I haven't tried the others. It was free, so I was lured into buying it. I wish I coulda seen what you guys were talking about pre-1.6.

i don't mean to pick holes in your argument but it was originally planned as a mac release, then pc and then microsoft stole it for their xblock (as you can see i don't like xbox but i generally hate the "next-gen" consoles anyway)

Consoles rock...a machine as fast as some PC's but solely for gaming. Hard to beat that. Then again you have so many options with PC games..so either way is great for a real gamer. Halo rocks can't wait for Halo 2..I'll get an Xbox just so I can have it asap. lol
