Question about ears

Is there any point to them and how do u get them?

kill someone in PvP, and their ear will drop. i guess their use is that they are some kind of trophy that u can show to everyone that "i am 1337 because i killed (username)" because if an ear drops, it will say on their name their char name and their level.

*edit* or you can sell the ears for a whole dollar; it'd be cool for a future patch that blizz makes higher level char's ears worth more, so it can kind of be a "mercenary-type" of PvP.

it is pretty useless, but i keep the ears i kill of my friends, and just brag a little bit, or keep the ears of some tough opponets :/

EDIT:: And on hardcore, some ears are worth LOTS, the ears of the greatest PKers are worth lots, and also the ears of the top ladder people are worth much to, but not as much as pkers ears. and not just some random pker that you see, the pkers that you see that join your game and you know you had better leave

heh ears are worth something on hc ladder cause if u get a level 99's ear you cna trade it off for ALOT
