How do I get teleport to work on the in town pickit????

I have the in town pickit, but i tried it out in a game and he picks it up when i drop it but that is only because he is right next to it, however when i drop and run away from it, it doesnt tele to it.....Also i told someone to just drop a crappy unique, they dropped a nagel and he didnt tele to it???? what the hell? How do you get your character to tele to the items, and yes Im using a character that has tele. Can someone that has been here a while send me there ini file?

u are just using a pickit that doesnt tele, u need to get telepick
