why perm??

ey i know this is a newb question.. i just want to know why do ppl need to perm after trade.. happen to me evrytime im trading runes... they ask me to perm them... y is that?

if it is a dupe?? & how does perm prevent item from disappearing or whatever...

when u open the trade window and then close it, the game rolls back.... if u had a duped item and entered a game, the server makes a note of that so to say. but if u open the trade window close it and exit. the server rolls back and it doesnt delete the duped item

ow so u mean u have to perm so that if the game rolls back, the server checks the last time u open the trade window...???
