Kno this sounds newb.. But how do I get downloaded Chars to appear in the single player/ or open player screen? ive tried putting the character files in the d2/ save folder and the main directory but niether work.

first make a cahr in singel palyer THEN download the char on the internet and find the diablo file wiht that chars name in it and move the file into that file and tahts it walaa

Yeah, d/l the character. Then find what folder your made ones are in and stick him in there.

place the files into this directory
C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Save
thats the default
