I've decided to indroduce this realm. It has 1.08-1.11 combined on its's 1.10 server. It is hosted by the PvPGN (PvP Game network) so therees no lag, spam, and bots.

When Diablo II was patched from 1.09 to 1.10 and now to 1.11 a lot of us thought this was the end, since then a lot of players moved on to other games. It seemed that all the fun was taken out of the game we all love, especially open dueling, we decided not to let them get away with this. We decided to create a mod that would incorperate the best of 1.08 through to 1.11 keeping it to the basic story line. We have added the best items from versions 1.08 through to 1.11 as well as loads of other Godly items for you to find. The most importnt thing was to make it player friendly and challenging. When you first start playing you won't notice any difference to the origional D2 game play but as you level and go to nightmare and hell as the monsters get harder, that way you will be challenged. You will need all the expirience you can muster from playing Diablo II LOD to get you through. Apocalypse Realm is a Closed account creation gateway governed by our TOS (Terms Of Service) which are strickly inforced. You can read TOS on our forums. To play on Apocalypse Realm go to Forums , register and apply for an account under Apocalypse Realm Player Accounts Application and you will be playing in no time.
Why Play On Apocalypse Realm?
1: We have combined the best from 1.08 through to 1.11 into the mod.
2: We don't have annoying bots spamming.
3: We allow players to use MapHack and Loader.
4: You can have 18 characters on your account.
5: Stash size has been increased in Classic And LOD
6: We have added more unique items for you to find.
7: All LOD sets have been upgraded and new ones added.
8: Experience in cows has been reset as it was in 1.09.
9: More runes drop in cows. By doing this it is hoped that upgrading runes is a little easier.
10: The 5 highest runes have a 30% better chance to drop in game.
11: Magic find has been increased slightly on all bosses.
12: Rune words from all versions are activated and some exclusive to Apocalypse Realm.
13: Crafted Items Have Been Upgraded.
14: Ubers Like no other added.
15: The hellfire torch has been changed for Apocalypse.
16: D2 Classic is worth playing now - Stash and inventory size increased. All legit uniques added. LOD sets added.

"9." I wasn't playing in 1.09, THAT'S why I asked... don't play...
"10." I was asking because the wording of the statement confused me. I understand that it has that range of modifications, but it says "Ubers added like no other"... clarify please

In 09 the main leveling spot was hell cows. You can get rushed to hell then you hell cow. It was like 30 levels in 1 run. There use to be cow channels and a lot of games of cows. Now cow exp is low and doesnt help.

Ok, thanks for info, but might I make a suggestion, try rewriting that statement like so:

hm...sounds interesting. cows were always fun to level off of and i still cow for items sometimes(3os archon plates etc).

heh. i used to be a regular on this realm till the admin (alex) started using hacked items with his accounts on closed realm. i discovered this and he banned me. he also banned 2 different clans, dst and msd for the same reasons. great mod, shitty admin
