so i have not been on lately mainly do to school and other interests. i have pretty much stopped playing d2 and lost almost all interest in it. just waiting for d3 and enjoying sc2 right now

so i figured out how to get the bot to run on windows 7. it was quite easy really.

first you need to follow HoTO's guide D2NT172_NTBot36 Quick Guide

everything is the same, EXCEPT for the JS32.dll. you see the trick is to place it in this folder.

ill list the entire path out.
C:\Windows\SysWOW64

do not place it in the system32 folder like what you do for xp

i suspect that for Windows 7 32 Bit users, it would be C:\Windows\SysWOW32. ...

i would not use it just yet. there are too many unknowns. blizz may or may not ban for them. it is too early to tell. i am adopting a wait and see approach. as such, i will not be able to help with the set up with these "new" D2NTs yet. also, please DO NOT download the program from new members. many of those files are tainted with keyloggers, trojans, viruses, etc.

you can set the max time allowed to stay in the current game by editing this value in your character.ntl file found in D2NT172_NTBot36\D2NT\scripts\libs\config
me.maxgametime = 800; // time in seconds, maximum game length (0 is infinite)
