by a fusion hack in 09, a person was able to craft 2 items together (fuse) in this case wiz+gloves, using the cube, these items became numerous in quantity and heavily duped. also there was rogue's belt, fleshrender boots, occy sojs..... soulflay gauntlets and some more stuff

1.08 was even worse than 1.09. I thought blizzard was going to give up on D2 at one point in 08. Things got out of control...

i think trog means 1.08 was way worse for gameplay because it had so many bugs. as for the topic, the gloves were generated through a fusion hack which has already been said
