how do i get rid of the links that appear on the URL when i press the first few letters eg http://www.hello.com.When i press ' www.h' the URL http://www.hello.com will appear.How do i make it (the 'www.hello.com' when i press 'www.h') disappear?

Easiest way is to clear your browsers history

But what if i want to delete just one specific website?

For IE.
Click on the history button. Between Media and the Mail icon... then find any references to the site you want to remove, right click on them and chose delete.

View the image attatched.. also the short-cut to get to History when in Internet Explorer is Ctrl+H

sometimes if u delete the history parents will think ur trying to cover up for porn sites.... ive had it happen to me before:
mom says, why are these gone??????

heheheh same here but parents never found out ^_^ clear history and set the history/broswer to clear after every site youve visisted also will help

its funny how i can know much stuff about comps that genious pplz dont know, and yet they can blow me away with all their "blah blah blah" stuff,
linux? isnt that like a special software language like oracle files or someblah blah blah blah blah? all i know is that my mom had to do a big oracle software merge at work a few years ago, and that oracle has 3 buildings... saw it on the newz!

Linux is actually an OS like windows etc. But faster, more stable etc... I use RedHat Linux v9 for this server as you can see by my uptime signature :p

i'm still wanting the no life whatsoever rank. he had it at 2000 posts in 2002 but then everything changed :mad: now i'm going for it again. that or i'll just become a mod before the 3000 posts. i havent decided yet.

woah there buddy! lol, i just flame too easily, ill say "OMFG" after each death in cs, lol (usually get hs by a noob 1 mile away)
as for the rank, i just wanna get a lot of posts so people will know im NOT a noob (somehow related to my screen name) and 2, someday ill get up to 3000!
