Multi-Game Thread

I haven't played D2 in a long time. I pop in every now and then so I don't lose my account, though all my mules expired, so I for one like this idea. The name could easily change to gamessector or gamingsector. It could just be about games in general. Having different sections for all the different platforms and then sub sections for all the different genres. If a game has a popular following it could end up having it's own subsection, maybe post polls every now and then for people to vote on Half-Life having a seperate section on the forum.

I'm not usually one to be closed-minded, but I don't think this is such a good idea.

When I log into d2sector.net, the first thing I see always has nothing to do with Diablo. It's always "One Word Story Game" or "Ruin this wish", which really has nothing to do with Diablo at all. I feel that if we added more games to the site's coverage, we'd lose a bunch of trusted members, and just gain a bunch of 12 year old spammers.

When I log into d2sector.net, I like to see "FCR Breakpoints?" and stuff like "Ironman". THAT'S on-topic stuff. If we added stuff like half life 2, we would see "OMG HOW MANY ROUNDZ CAAN UYOIU SHOOT IN 1 HOURS!!?" We don't need that.

I really don't know. I come here for Diablo II, a game I've been playing for 5 years. I chose this forum over countless others because it is pretty clean. I wouldn't want to see it lost under the influence of another game.

Sure the game may have been released awhile ago, but Diablo 2 is easily one of the more addicting games out there. This is because it is an RPG, and RPG's can be played in so many ways; meanwhile with Halo and other FPS's you pretty much just shoot, and it's like always the same things, so many threads would just be too repetitive, same goes for the other FPS's you listed. Add that to the fact that this site contains extensive strategies and all that good stuff about Diablo 2; very calming; I wouldn't want some of the hardcore FPS people come here and ruin the atmosphere; peace out.

im with silent jedi i like multi game better but stil this site would mostly be on diablo like hacks and such. I quit d2 llike 2 mounths ago so i jus stay on here because its fun i like peeps on here....like i never go to the diablo sectionn unless im helping someone.

Maybe having What Subcategory set aside just for "Other Games" it wouldnt be too bad. I do agree though the small talk forum is going to hell.

What if there was a Dungeon Seige section? Thats a fairly diabloesq game, and a good one to boot.
