I mean its not a terrible idea.....i just am saying i said to change the site before and its just to nerve racking for all the ppl becuz they start flipping out and everything cuz the sites prob gonna be down and such.....and ppl then get confused mad angry and like to pm everyone, so we should just leave the site alone lol

changing pts=probly too much work. who cares about forum gold. why would i even care if i recieved 2000k gold for a godly item. an item can do a lot more then some silly gold imo. trading for pts, i used to do it but now i think its pretty useless unless pts are changed into gold and u are allowed to do way more things with gold.

i didn't know people would trade godlies for pts. points don't seem like they would be versatile enough for points, unless someone was really desperate for them.

and kill slayer is right. people do flip out when you have an idea to change the site. it may be best just to leave it as it is.

lol i remember way back when when people used to sell nigmas for points and other stuff like that. 3keys buying shakos for 1k points, it was fun to have something to do with them. Now they are just worthless. I havent touched my points in a month. Theyve just been sitting in the bank multiplying while i got off and do other things(LIKE REPLAY FF8, WHICH IS A LOT BETTER THAN I REMEMBER)

If you want to do forum gold, than like an ist would cost say 25 pts. Thats how it is on D2Jsp, you get like 1/10 a point per post i think. So multiply that x 10 and its like 250 pts at 1 pt per post. That means we got a spam session. I like the idea of Gold but it just won't work.
And Stifle. FF8 was pretty lame.

everyone says points are worthless but remember what happend when some one (looks around) had the idea that we should remove points alltogether? or even start it at new? people were soo P!ssed off about that and were saying '' im gunna leave d2s '' and sh!t... whenever we have a new idea people get pissed so i think we should leave it alone.

You mean everyone who spammed to all hell in order to get their points or the people who have >1k posts and are sitting around patiently letting their points gain interest or maybe the people who left D2S for an extended period of time and came back to find they had a truck load of points due to interest or maybe someone like ZM_Alpha who got about 1mil in points just from skidude?

Seriously, which people do you refer to? Becuase as far as I can tell close zero people have actually amassed points and deserve them.

I put them in bank, sold items, made lvling jobs for points and rushed etc.....


Also, I helped people a lot and won 2 gfx contests..........
( SOTW1 and WALLPAPER both on 2nd places )


Anyways, I think points = gold and I like the system like it is now.........

I don't want it to change..........maybe just put new functions on uShop or something because it starts being boring having about 390k points in bank but nothing to do with them.........

It would be easy to reset them entirely, wouldn't it? It would take some fun coding to change it to 1 point a post, or .1, or something. and we could finally use our points. atm, they're quite useless 'cept for custom titling or usernaming. and stickying, which mods can do free.

Yes i totally agree with you, reseting the points would be very easy and at this point in time the points are worthless for trading.

All i want is to use trading sucessfully without having to worry about the uber rich people buying what i want for a heavily inflated price that is ridiculous to just about everybody else.

we already discussed resetting the point system, and it was decided against by a multitude of people. Stop bringing it up.

And FF8 isnts lame, its actually not bad, though i used to hate it. I think its cause its a really complicated game and i didnt understand it back then(i was like 10 or 11 i think). I also love the cardgame. Second best mini game ever, besides blitzball.....wow im digressing....
