ooooo... it's tougher to pick up on written sarcasm. especially when it fits in so well.

Well, I will try to make my sarcasm more apparent next time :-)

I saw star wars on friday and then again on saturday. I was first in line on friday by getting there 2 hours before the movie. Saturday was spur of the moment date decided she wanted to see a movie instead of going home. Gah! It was just as good the second time as it was the first time. I might go see it again next weekend if i need to kill some time and to look for "hidden goodies" in the movie.

Whoa, so you actually paid for the ticket twice and now your thinking about buying a third??? You must be rich.

or in love...with the movie or girlfriend. i love it. i saw it for 5.50 because i saw the matinee. i'd go again too. if i didn't spend 8.50 on popcorn and pop. wtf is with those prices.
05-23-2005, 08:36 PM
Gah!! You suck! And snack prices are way outrageous.

You actually purchase food/drink at the theater? Thats crazy. I always eat before I go to the theater so I do not get hungry or thirsty. Theaters make all their money on concessions and break even on ticket sales most of the time, I know it for fact as I worked in a movie theater for a little over year (aka I saw every movie that time frame)

I always get the girl I am going with to sneak some food and drinks into the movie in her purse. Works quite well.
05-24-2005, 12:58 AM
I wonder would they get suspicious if a guy goes to the movies with a purse lol
05-24-2005, 01:16 AM
HAHA~They think it's a bomb=_="~Actually theater snacks and stuff are so expensive and it's not worth buying there, but the totally outrageous thing I've ever seen is a guy bring along like 7 kids, they bought tones of potato chips and coke=_="

Actually doing 4,5,6 like 30 years ago was incredible, but because it was old,so the special effects wasn't good,so I hope Geogre could reshoot the movie again with more special effects^^But the old4,5,6 were realy good for it was 30 years ago=_="

He reportedly has all the way to episode 12 or so scripted and ready to film but for some reason he is not preping for filming or even looking for actors or anything for them. It make me kinda mad just thinking that he might kick the bucket before he "finishes" the Star Wars series.

It wouldn't be Lucas who actually directs them (unless he really wants to lol), but he would be there to help make sure the plot follows his vision mostly, as it was his series. And btw, yes I saw it last Friday (no i did not wear a costume). I thought it was awesome though ![]() ![]()

He better not remake 4,5,6. When ever they remake stuff they always find a way to **** it up. Leave us with good memories of 4, 5, and 6, not someones remastered version. |
