How many of you here have bot items, have thought about buying items, or wont, and why?

My friend bought perfect archon enigma in the middle of ladder season 2 for 5 dollars to start off, and a phoenix vortex for $4, which I don't think is that bad. And he also told the guy who he bought the phoenix from that one of the HRs dissapeared, and the guy gave him another one XD.

Well, I could buy everything (all perfect) items for a hammerdin, than I'd just have to rape myself leveling, but to sacrifice a close 100 USD for a single character seems a little much. They should cut all prices in half, and I bet you they'd get alot more customers. Hell, I'd want to work for them. They build me a perfect mf sorc, and I get payed to find items.... how good is that?

i used to think about saving up and buying alot of items, but it seemed kinda pointless, so i waited it out, and now finally it worked out for the better, i got what i need, and no money lost

I already buyed items on ebay. All my zeal paly stuff, hammerdin stuff and druid stuff. I got it for a good price 20 bucks.

No, I have never bought any items, not even thought about it. I will never buy any items; or else why would I buy Diablo II (and subsequently the expansion, as well as paying $20 to fix the CD twice), followed by paying more for a couple of pixels that give me no satisfaction. It's a complete waste to buy items when it is actually rewarding to find the items yourself (also without the use of a bot, but I won't go into that).

Me and two friends did buy a lvl 60 fully equiped monk for EQ one time, way back when it first came out. Damn thing cost like $700...but hay I was addicted like so many others at the time.

I never have, nor would I ever buy any d2 items. If somebody else wants to, its up to them. My only problem with people buying items is that it perpetuates the spambots. Those G.D. spambots. Man O man do I hate those spambots. And whats with this new spambot that stays in the game and just continually spams, like, non-stop. Man I hate those spambots!

I'm not proud of it, but I have bought items, back before my account was scammed I nabbed a 388 ebotz for like... 14 bucks, but it was a sort of Easter present from my parents. I never would have bought it if I knew how much Griefs own Ebotdz, eh Sinner?
