Oblivian Knight & Iron Maiden Curse

These monsters with the iron maiden curse are gay!

Does anybody else run into problems with them in act 4 and act 5 (in nm and hell). For a zealot pally, like me, they suck. I have started to put more numbers in FOH to try to take them out from a distance...But my skill is too low.

For melee fighters, what are some of the things u do to kill them? I wonder what skill lvl these bastards have...I died about 5 times on a baal run last night because of them.

LOL...yeah, great advice that I already knew. The only problem is I was in a game w/ two other pallys last night. And u cant always avoid them.

You can run around to separate the pack. Then, pick off every single oblivion knight with charge, and deal with the minions once all the obliv knights are gone.

That's the best way for melee attacker, take out the oblivion's first, it helps reduce dmg cuz your not getting their ranged attacks either, but if they do hit you w/IM b4 you get to them, do NOT kill them, then your stuck w/low life and they can't re-curse you... so just run around till they kill you w/something else...

Either make a tp just incase u die, or u can just get alot of leech and fight for it. If ur a melee pally, just charge then sacrifice ^-^ 1hit kill ^-^

yeah hc classic was a *****... the ONLY way to lvl was d runs... so that meant killing all the way to d EVERY game... so a hc lvl 99 was almost impossible... and then of course there are the ever present "trap" threats... i watched a lvl 93 hc classic sorc get slain in cows after taking on an aura enchanted cow... who then exploded and took her to barely alive (less than 100hp), she was then slain by a trap when she opened a chest.... lol... then i watched a 94 pali die the next game... he was the highest living char on classic bnet, (all this was in .09) and his internet went down, so he was killed over a period of 30seconds by 1 single cow...>_<!!!!!!!!!

so....making a melee fighter in hc is quite risky....if ure doing solo runs...(which makes it worse).....

if you use berzerk when iron maiden'd it doesnt really return any damage... just te fact that if u zerk u still can die fairly easily

Yup, that's why I always switch to ranged in areas with oblivion and doom knights. That or my melee character stays back.

my barbs got lozza life, i can servive 1 conc hit with iron maiden on ^_^

but most of the time i get it in WW lol

my zeal pally allwayz has a buriza on him at all time so if u run into i/m dudes i just wip out the buriza wif fanat aura on and pffft pfft pfft. my pally dose 2k wif the buriza

Meh, it saves my life half the time due to idiots who block my way. I've learned that a wf _will_ work and cause serious damage from a paly.

my merc just ran into those knights with iron maiden cursed and got killed ...

the key to killing things when im'd is to use elemental damage. Switch to vengence, even at level 1-5 it can kill them with ease. Elemental damage reflects nothing and that is why a berserk attack doesn't reflect. It is almost completely a magic attack!! Good luck
