What changes have been made?

As some of you have noticed, there is a new forum in the "Diablo II" category that appears, being the "Diablo II Donor Lounge". The Donor Lounge is a re-direct forum that points to a sub-forum in the "Diablo II File Download" forum, which is hidden from regular users. Only users of the staff, administration and donor group will be able to access this special forum.


What benefits do I have as a donor?

Instead of making super-quick releases with more or less untested code, I will be posting new versions/updates of my programs in the Donor forum. After they were tested, they will then be released to the public (i.e. the donator's have kind-of "beta tester" status). I will also be publishing some of my private projects in the donor forum, that won't be released to the public, after I finish a stable version of EasyMap. Donators will also have a small turning star next to their forum name (see: admins) and will appear in green in the main online list.


How can I donate?

Currently, if you're living outside of the "European Union" (short: EU) you can only donate to me via paypal. My paypal account is: [email protected]

IF you live inside the EU and don't want to donate via paypal, you can send me a letter or a private bank transaction. Please contact me personally beforehand, as I will need to instruct you with the details (address/bank account).


I've already donated. How do I become a donator?

Please send me a private message with a small info about your donation (amount/type of donation/e-mail). I will then add you to the donator group as soon as possible.


How much money should I donate?

Your donation should be equivilant to 5 US Dollars (or more ;p) in one of the following currencies (paypal related): EURO, US Dollar, Canadian Dollar.


How can I check who is a donator aside the star and the green name in the online list?

I will be adding a special list of all donators shortly.

I've been using EM since 3.1 and although my accounts haven't been banned YET.. I'm sure they will. Which is what I saved one of my extra cdkeys for specifically. I've just created an account and mule every single one of my items to it. The only way the accounts that have used EM will be linked to the new mule account is through IP - which I highly doubt blizzard takes into account, considering they state "all accounts and cdkeys linked to the accounts will be banned" or whathaveyou.


Anyhow.. thanks for the heads up guys.. I'm fairly certain I'm in 'line' to be banned, but atleast now I have all my items.

Sorry to hear the news of you guys. I got banned back in 1.10 and it sucked a fat one so I know what you're going through.

lol yeah what slimp said is right d2 is so addicting i started playing 3 years ago. lol its hard to quit d2 i mean its fun and getting good gear is kinda challenging and you meet some pretty cool people from all around the world. but it is very addicting maybe now that all my accs are gone ill go do something. lol maybe later ill use my credits that i have built up at d2sale and then ill make a smiter again and play every once in a while lol... yeah right

I also have been of use for mousepads mh before but this I must say who is captivated is same this owes I also say to nothing there against blizzard scans the users blizzard is impudent primarily if one of your PCs offline is and you have the mh in front of 6 h offline at your 2 ten PC there I wonder shall be I to mean advocate go because of injury of the privacy there and it really cannot because of a wrong accusation simply can the player violate the right one and unshornly comes from it so.

First of all: They are not scanning your HARD DRIVE. The program is simply looking at itself and sees that its memory and function has been altered against its will. Warden simply scans for code in the d2 memory space and returns a value whether or not it has found hacks. It's not sending information about what's on your computer, only info about itself. And by the way, read the EULA.. there is probably something in there about exactly this.. and when you clicked "I agree", you did exactly that.

The only thing 'illegal' in your case is you using a 3rd party program to alter diablo II thus violating the EULA (I don't imagine this is breaking any sort of laws). Furthermore, if blizzard REALLY wanted to, they could legally pursue each MH maker, and likely user for destroying economy and gameplay on their realms which makes their game less desirable costing them actual money. Punitive damages is what they would get you for.

Go right ahead, do your best to bite blizzard but you'll do nothing but pull your hair out and curse a few times.


From your cryptic use of the English language it sounds as if you're asking why you were banned for not using maphack at the exact moment you found you were banned. One would assume Blizzard would gather accounts and cdkeys for atleast 24hours and THEN start iniating the ban. You also mention your other computers not being turned on.. I have no idea what this has to do with anything.

A final note... any account that is associated with a single cdkey, IE your FRIENDS account you logged into or played on and vice versa would be banned.

this is what dose not make sence to me ok i made a acc not connected to any email right and i put all my good items of real value like 2soc coa i made mt uber killer smite and everything but that acc still got banned so that means they had to of looked into my comp and thats a big privacy lawsuit there lol prolly not but the acc i use mh on was not tied to my comp in anyway it was my friends old acc so if anything the email was tied to his comp so i dont understand how my accs go affected

the CDKEY you connected to battle.net was probably the same you created the other accounts with. Blizzard isn't completely stupid - they see the connection and know it's the same person.


Let's see if I can explain it simply.

CDKEY would remain a constant.


CDKEY+Your friends account+maphack = CDKEY flagged+friends account flagged
CDKEY+Creating new account-maphack = CDKEY still flagged+new account flagged

thats not entirely true cosmetic cuase 2 out of 3 accs are gone and the 3rd one is tied to my cd key too and my friend logged onto it when i was on open bnet just to see if he could get one them
