NEW QUESTION: I play on NL. Now I'm not that rich yet, and I can't afford a hoz. In the guide, it says to get a spirit instead. I play NonLadder, so a Spirit costs MORE than a HoZ. What shield should I get then?? :-S

Hey im just wondering isnt Heveans Light a perfect substitute for Black?
It can be socketed twice which means if you have Highlords you can socket it with one sheal ( like some other guy said i forgot his acct name) and like a -15 req jewel if your going for the low stre and dex and high life.

Stormshield requires 156 strength, I have 115 (enough for g-face). Once I get my CoH, I'll have 135...still not enough. Anything else other than SS? Alma Negra maybe? :p

Eh...Alma Negra is okay. If you use a -req jewel or Hel rune, you will have enough strength for Stormshield. Since you are using it as a temporary shield while you build your wealth, I wouldn't worry too much about what to use in sockets.

Alright, another new question. What exactly does crushing blow do? Also, (because I'm a lazy bastard) what are the fhr/ias tables for a Paladin?

crushing blow reduces a monsters life by a percentage (ex. 12.5%) so if u have good crushing blow, ubers will loose 12.5 % of their overall life every time u hit them. that is why crushing blow is so important since ubers regenerate so fast normal dmg won't do u any good
