hm...it's been how many years now since diablo II was released. 6-7? ships should have sunk years ago. blizzard isn't making any money what-so-ever on diablo really so why would they care to keep servers up and maintain them when they have WoW. idk if its a new patch because that but maybe. also didn't it lag a real lot when they were resetting ladder? maybe they're resetting it? or like the time that guy crashed bnet. maybe he's trying it again.

Blizz/B.net could afford to keep diablo afloat before WoW, now they are cashing in millions, literally millions every month. I don't think there will be any issues of D2's online play. I think they consider D2 irritating in the fact they keep having to patch it to keep clean online play.

I see the same thing is happening to you today as was happening to me last night, and most nights lately. I either wait, get into a game and have terrible lag or get the "Joining.... Failed to Join" bull$hit! I haven't been able to enjoy a session of D2 in weeks due to all this. I hope they fix whatever needs fixing, be it lag dupes, bots, hacks... whatever. I don't exacty follow the Blizz EULA so I might have to take my licks, but I hope the fix the damned game!

its cause all the dupes and hacks and there is so many people on east so it lags the servers more into this kinda stuff and it won't be fixed till the 5th prob
someone needs to attack the servers again to crash east so they fix the lag too again for a while devilish:
