d2 install error

when i try to install d2 it wont install fully. it gos up untill "data" then gets an error saying the disc isn't in the cd rom. but it is... the error is like data.mpq or w/e thing.

if anyone knows how to fix it please tell, 1k points to whoever helps. but they only get it if it worksO.o

Well I had the samething actually...but then it worked the seccond time. if you want I just recently copied my cds to my computer so I can send you the .ISOs. I don't think it's illegal(in canada) because you do own the actual game. Also youd need daemon tools to run it. Oh and no cd sawping.


Ps. What do points do

1. Try cleaning the disk, even if it doesnt look like anything is there.
2 Just a suggestion, if we get through this get d2loader and use the no cd thing.

Give us what the error said exactly.

press control v in paint to paste the screenshot

ok, press the screenshot button, go in pain and go to Edit<paste

then save as jpg, gif.. w/e and host it on imageshack.us and post it here.

Press print screen, open paint and press Ctrl + v and it will paste the s/s in paint, save it and upload it.

I've had this happen to me before, and I think it was because the cd was scratched/dirty.

i tried cleaning it alot. but no dice><.. i played a private realm, that got anything to do with it?

A private realm? Hmm, from my experience it shouldnt do anything, maybe the host and the ftp has something to do with that.

I recieve this error though...
My diablo 2 installer disc does have a larget scratch in it.
Would it be possible for anyone to send me the game in an iso?

I have Isos if you need them, and the install error wouldn't be from a server
