Question about uber diablo

I just defeated him, but i have a few questions

Okay, the "SOj sold to merchants" Kept showing up, but what does that mean?

Finally, it said Diablo walks the earth, and I thought id read something about killing the first unique monster you see and uber diablo will spawn, but this didnt happen.

So i thought id go to tristram, and he was guarding the portal. Does he always guard the portal?

No, he can spawn ANYWHERE! Its USUALLY by the first superunique monster you see. The soj sold to merchant thing is how Uber D spawns. When enough sojs get sold, he spawns. Have fun with your new anni lol.
