ok i play d2 alot and have for a few years and ive only got this error as of late (about the start of this week) it appers like this

Just Reinstall D2 And use the disk

Yea, It will fix your problem and you will probably have to do that soon anyway because bnet might ban you for using loader...

im not using loader tho, i just start the game by puting the disc in...

I was wondering if you fixed this... Cause I also get this error and i dont use a d2lodder... It seems to happen at random times and all Diablo freezes and eventually closes the i have to reload

yeah i would get tthat same thing, i would put the disk in too.

if this error happens when the disc is running it might be cause of error reading disc. if it happens while you're in middle of a game it might be memory management problem. either way, reinstall d2 is your best bet. (some of the d2 core files might be corrupted due to human errors, e.g. force shutdown of the program while it was still running.)
