I have created this thread in response to Burner's request for his thread about his and keys kid's MGRPG. He requested that all of us who area creating out own RPG to stop talking about our projects in his thread, so here is the thread that you can use to discuss your own RPG's that you are making, hope this works
My RPG, i dunno if it will work. I may have to wait until after finals. crap, i gotta go to school now, later guys. Remember, no more posting about your RPG in their MGRPG discussion, thanx. post it here if u want to talk about ur RPG.
I use rpgmaker2000 because it's more simple and easy to use.
One of these days ill use rpgmaker2003 because the battle system is MUCH better.
I currently have a town with my house, a castle with a dungeon, a multi-purpose shop, and another land with grasslands, forest with cave in middle, and a mountain range. you can fight in all of them.
Ok, here goes. In mine, there's right now, 2 worlds. First world has castle, all purpose store, 2 other islands, and a three level dungeon in your house, for level 35 and for story reasons. There is also a secret after the 3 level dungeon, which gets you the best item in the game, and boy is it good. There is a Inn, castle, all purpose shop in the second world. I got a question. I used a blank cd to transfer RPG Maker 2000 to my computer upstairs since i don't have internet up there. then i placed my project that i was working on in the RPG Maker 2000 folder. However, when i try to save my game, it gives the following message below in the screenie. How do i fix this so i can actually save my game??
EDIT- Nevermind, forget what i typed here, i figured out my problem. In the process of transferring files, i forgot to change all of my files from "read only" to "archive". dumb me lol. now i can work on my shizat more probably..
well, it isn't quite right for an RPG if you don't censor it in some kind of way.
anyway, the younger ppl wouldn't know what half of the stuff i have put in is
It's about my life, come on. People are GOING to be disturbed. One good side is that you can get high with the kings of the lands. (I really don't do drugs, just an inside joke gone overboard.)
