Yeah it doesnt work. i ran it while using the editor and it still showed the messages. any ideas?

If you say it's a little black box popping up and closing, its probably a little DOS window, doint what, I don't know.

im not smart i just have a lot of programs. that and my friend writes scripts. he had an awesome dupe for 1.09 man i miss that....

but back to ur question. that little black window should pop up. its mdos running in the bg it starts the recovery program. open hero editor and get into ur char then run the program. it should be almost automatic except u click "yes" every now and then. it'll revert ur char back to the last time it was saved, tho.

yeah thats prob rite, a DOS prog. but what is it meant to do? find and fix the problem cause i still have the save files (map etc) and im not sure what to do with them


o okay, just the problem is that i cant even run the char. it doesnt even show up in my 'SP' folder when i load the game

looks thru registry keys (not actually registry keys, but things that act like registry keys) created by d2 and hero editor to find the last time u saved ur char. it then reverts ur char back to this.

thanks neway Yazzi n Nubli. i used to play on bnet 1.09 for 3 years until the 1.10 came out. part of the clan 'CD' - crystal dragons (you heard of it?). once again, thanks

the "keys" are svaed in teh .d2s file. u dont need to do anything w/ them. the recovery program should do it all by itsself. altho, hero editor's file may have become corrupted which is why ur having problems. if hero's editors files are corrupted then my program cant help u bcuz it uses much of the same files as hero editor.
