dude all genres are the same some ppl sing about this some about that. some rap SUCKS other rap is ok and rock isnt all screaming thats like saying rap is all thug and it isnt. and where do you get off saying rock sucks. rock has been around way longer than rap

I like Rap and Rock even tho most people just go 1 way. I mean my parents listen to rock so thats the only thing I listened to. Then I started listening (trying out) some rap and now I like both....

man the gods of rock are Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath (old style), Aerosmith (old stuff), KISS (for bringin the god of guitar Ace Frehley), Guns N Roses (Slash dur), Pink Floyd (the walls any1?), and of course the ****ing beatles...

Ok Lyc it's The Wall man, you know in reference to the Berlin wall. And Ace is good but Slash (check out his new band Velvet Revolver it's all of Guns 'N Roses but instead of Axel it's the guy from Stone Temple Pilots) and Kirk Hammet (not sure on spelling but he's from Metallica) are better. And I don't think that Aerosmith is quite one of the gods of rock, if you're gonna have big lips there might wanna consider The Rolling Stones.

I hate rolling stones and I used to like metallica until lars got old and sucked at drumming.

I'm not big on the Stones either but they are very good at what they do and have made a much larger impact on music than Aerosmith has. And I don't mean new Metallica cause that stuff sucks (Saint Anger = disapointment) but even so Kirk is still better.

some rap is ok. hmmm, i like some of the Beasty Boys older stuff. haven't heard any new stuff from them, i hear its ok though. thats old school rap though....different story from the rap thats popular now (ugh).

Dude...Joey Jordsan one of the best drummers alive...right on. Slipknot puts on one of the best shows out there, though once they got drunk and Corey couldn't remember any of his own lyrics lol. But yeah they toured with Metallica once, and so has Mudvayne and God Smack, all great bands. In my opinion Mudvayne is the most talented of all the new metal bands, they're just awsome.

(There are more but those are the only ones I really care about)
