I kind of agree with your view on how trades have become way 2 ez. On the other hand back to my first point if D2 could ever figure out a way to get rid of BOTS, Duping, and allowing people to sell more stuff online you may not get so bored. Yet when you look at the other side of the game, how often in say a 4-6hour time frame when your playing does a Jah or Ber drop or any good high rune. One thing I think was good about ladder versus non-ladder was the abilitiy to Up items and Up runes. If D2 would have allowed this into the non-ladder I think it would have reduced "SOME" not all duping. People generally are willing to work for their gear rather than scam or use cheat methods (note: I said GENERALLY). Only after so long of playing say like for 5 or 6 years of the same game and your really not getting any tougher, because Noob's are getting damn D2 gear for there damn X-mas gifts or B-day presents do you kind of ask yourself whats really going on. I myself hope D3 will one day be a new addition to the Blizzard family. If you don't like it, theres always Halo 2, eventually somebody will find cheat codes to that game also and you can become Godly at Halo 2. Bottom line if you stay and honest and legit player this game will always have some sort of challenge to it or keep you wanting to stock the highest of high items. 1.10 to me is really no different than 1.09 other than when sojs use to rule the market are now replaced by runes, which are Duped in mass quantity. Of course in 1.09 there werent to many Runewords if there were any that could compare to any set item. Set items use to be more valuable, but when Enigmas and items like that came about you could just forget about everything but Runes. Oh, well the games will go on get on or get off. Your choice. Dude it's to easy to get leet gear on D2 period you don't need ebay at all,Just make a ladder mf sorc and sell the gear for non ladder boom ya are rich.They should have kept ladder an non ladder totally apart then the need for the dupes may not be so bad cause non ladder makes up the biggest part of the pvp(money making)part of the game there is.
I had a huge giveaway ask alfzz and I still have 3 accts leet I gave to my kid.
