rock or rap?

u guys need an argument to back up your choice, i like rock because, or i like rap because, not just RAP IS BETTER, or vice versa. for instance, i dont like most of modern rap because its more of gansta' rap which i dont like(excluding the awesome beastie boys of course, lol), all though i do like rap from way back when it started, in the late 80's early 90's. I like rock more, because i like to have more of a complex and actual score, rather that just a constant beat backing up some kind of poem.
