Another thing that i find better about rock is the fact that most bands arent all about money but rather music, which is what musicians should worry about more in my opinion.
From what ive seen most rappers seem more content with money rather then thier art considering most time you see thier houses they are huge, extravagants, and pointless.
Rock is people expressing them selves or what they went through in life, of course the best example here is still Nirvana.
