The raptor drives, the 74gb ones, are for games and Windows. The larger 250gb drives are for everything else like pictures,movies and the like. The reason for the division is that fast seek times from the raptors will make games run just that little bit faster while with movies and pictures and music you dont need fast seek times you just needs LOTS of space.
I also neglected to get SATA raptors and IDE 250gb drives. Instead I think I linked you to IDE raptors and 250gb drives.
If you call Alienware and give them that list of stuff they will most likely hop to and build you a custom system with those exact specs including the RAID 0.
Also use Windows XP Home edition as opposed to Pro if you plan to game more than anything else beacuse Home is more geared toward that user than Pro. Pro is more the networker and programer as its a "true" multi-tasker.
