is it possible to place files in an ntfs drive?

just wondering if its possible to place files in an ntfs drive because i need to place a file in the system and system32 folder (this is windows xp) and it wont let me.

Make sure you have admin rights to edit those files first off. Also be VERY carefull of editing those folders they contain critical files that allow your system to run so if you screw one up you could screw up the whole computer.

BTW what is the file you have to put in there anyways? Does it already exist in the folder(s)?

NTFS is just the type of file system. It's as Sinner said.

Yup yup thats correct. There are two types of file system available to most Window's machiens. Thats Fat32 and NTFS. Most choose NTFS or at least that seems to be a default for alot of pre-builts.

alright i didnt have privliges and its js32.dll that im putting in system and system32 and im not sure if it works yet but thanks for the replys
