the rolling of a boulder up a hill for all eternity comes from greek mythology where this one guy payed for his sins in hades by rolling a boulder up a hill but when it almost reached the top the ground would come loose and the boulder would slip all the way back down. dont ask me why he didnt just stop. i would have just said screw it if i knew i was in hell
