Lord Almighty. What a flame war.
First of all, I understand season's point of view, it sucks losing something botting. Although I don't play d2 much anymore, I remember the old days without the patch and how much it burned to lose something EVEN if it was 30 for 5. 5 are still 5 even if you gain back more. The only point I disagree with season's is the particular reason for his posting. You pointed out that you lose something, but what was the intended purpose of the comment? Did you want sympathy? People to relate? Increased posting number? I'm not sure, but your initial statements, to me anyway, seem to have no point of discussion. Hence Flaming Ensues.
Next thing. WOAH WOAH WOAH Chill out there cowboys. Zerochris, crackheadm Zeph, Hurly AND ESPECIALLY Bloodangel, you guys need to calm down. I don't understand you Bloodangel especially because you apparently used to have bots (or had bots?) (or condone botting?) but you attack this guy for losing when he was botting? Is it because he was complaining. There are better ways to say it like "If you bot there is always risks that you take." No need for such a lashing on season.
And stop using the word Newb so liberally, it's like calling yourself a "non-newb," which is just a statement that proves it own inaccuracy. If someone pisses you off or doesn't understand, they aren't a newb, they don't understand. Someone has been playing a little too much d2 :p .
If you don't like seasons, comment on why and walk away. High posted "veteran" officials can make themselves look like children yelling at a new poster. Aren't we supposed to WELCOME new members into the community which people have been so worried about? Maybe a little understanding and patience does go a long way.
