I dont think its a motherboard problem or bios, Because it reads everywhere (Device manager, On Boot up, in bios) but not in "my computer", but i will do that and get back to you shortly

I couldnt find and update for my bios or the motherboard could u possibly find one, if you need any more info on my pc let me know, and while your at it could you tell if my motherboard is decent?
Ok well the only thing i guess i can think is that the harddrive is broke, so i got another 40 g seagate harddrive from my stash and it worked perfectly not a single problem, now i got one more question u guys might be able to answer i wanna add yet a forth harddrive to the ide cable with my dvd drive on it will it cause damage having them both on one cable?
