do as much as your charcter can handle without dropping essential gear/ making him die like a jerk. If you get killed by fallen in hell, you got a problem with your gear. if you get killed by fallen in NM, your beyond help. laugh:
I for one recently had a very nice run on diablo. HoZ & naj's (which i needed cuz i have no nigma) in the same run eek: with only 4% MF laugh:
it all has to do with how much time your willing to sink into MFing. of course you may have gotten more uniques than me within that time. but we all know this game is basicly random about drops. (not really but let's not split hairs, i've gotten blue leather armors off of baal twice in a row, and that's with MF charcters. not my necro which found the naj/HoZ).
take time willing to sink, divide that by whatever your mf is, multiplied by even in hell blue daggers still drop (regardless of MF), plus aggravation, minus free time.
= i can't help you at all. 250 was enough to make me not spin kick my screen for me. now i just kind of sit back and enjoy the game. but crap runs WILL happen for awhile, they're unavoidable, just look at the %'s of the items your looking for.
the dice don't always land in the favor of the fool (gamblers, not calling you a fool). too bad this game is made like that. sink some more time.
eventually you'll be like me. enough good - great items to power 5 FULL accounts of charcters and not 1 ****ing high rune.
now i can actually see why people buy items
